When it comes to yachts, the bigger the boat, the better. At least that’s what Italian ship maker Baglietto believes with the launch of his new 157-foot superyacht, M/Y Andiamo. Composed of the traditional Baglietto style, the yacht maker teamed up with designer Francesco Paskowski to add some modern flair to his luxury vessel. A signal of a contemporary shift for the classic designer, Baglietto added innovative qualities with the new reverse angle windshield for increased visibility.

The first in the new Baglietto T-line 48 series, Andiamo’s 48-meter steel and aluminum structure is fit to accommodate up to 12 guests among five cabins with enough room for a nine-person crew. While the tri deck ship encompasses 3,767 square feet of luxury areas, half is dedicated to the sun deck composed of an infinity pool, dining area, barbecue and bar. Take the stairs to the upper deck to find another dining area, two open terraces and the cinema room.

There is no lack of luxury for this superyacht. As part of Francesco Paskowski’s unique design, the key elements of the interior are lacquered with ebony and onyx for a sleek, upscale feel, but it doesn’t stop there. The steel spiral staircase made to connect all three decks is bound in leather to add drama and function. The master stateroom, located on the main deck, continues the essence of luxury, including a private dressing room and two separate bathrooms.

Andiamo is powered by twin MTU engines to allow for a top speed of 16 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of 12 knots. This is Baglietto’s first design for a North American client, bringing the Italian name to many American boaters. The yacht will be showcased at the Canne and Monaco boat shows in September.
