Known as one of the most important rock bands of all time, The Beatles are forever immortalized in a unique set of three pens. John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr defied the norm by voicing a generation with their unique sound. Their legacy has inspired Montblanc, known for their writing instruments, watches, jewelry, fragrance and eyewear, to add the Fab Four to the Great Characters collection.

The Beatles Special Edition is dedicated to one of the most important rock ‘n roll albums ever: Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, which featured some of their most recognizable tunes like “With A Little Help From My Friends.” Just like the colorful album cover, this work of art is wrapped in multicolor stripes on the barrel and cap. Anyone who loves pens will idolize this one, it was crafted using a distinct lacquering process involving ten steps.

The Beatles Limited Edition 1969 honors the Beatles eleventh album Abbey Road. The pen is suited with a peace symbol and the word Love written in cherry red that comes together with silhouettes of the Fab Four crossing the road. The Union Flag is used to honor her majesty, which is a tribute to Queen Elizabeth II.  You’ll also see their license plate VM “LMW 28 IF” at the top and just below it, a microphone-shaped top.

Finally, The Beatles Limited Edition 88 celebrates the band’s breakthrough in America. It features the British flag topped with a crown, guitar, and few other Beatles’ portraits and signatures. One of those signatures is the Apple records label and three bold words, “Yeah, Yeah, Yeah,” which was taken from a newspaper paper story in 1964. Montblanc also fitted the pen with a solid-gold skeletonized cap has lacquer inlays, a clip with four charming mustaches.
