Chicago Gourmet, Bon Appétit’s annual culinary event, is always one that’s both highly anticipated and a smashing success. And this year, from Sept. 19-24, the iconic event at Millennium Park celebrates its 10th anniversary, promising what’s sure to be the most exciting and delicious year yet. Featuring numerous celebrity chef demonstrations from Chicago icons like Stephanie Izard and Curtis Stone, and world-renowned chefs like Carla Hall and Graham Elliot, Chicago Gourmet will also include scrumptious tastings from the Windy City’s best restaurants, wineries, and breweries. In addition to the fabulous food and wine, the extravaganza will also include lively cooking demonstrations, wine and cocktail seminars, book signings and tastings.
And of course, in celebration of its 10th birthday, this year’s event will also feature many celebrations and surprises. And the festivities don’t just stop at Millennium Park, as the “eXtraordinary Chefs – eXtraordinary Places” collection is throwing 10 parties in various iconic Chicago spots, such as Wrigley Field and Willis Tower. Party favors, photo opportunities and more will be on-hand, making this a Chicago Gourmet that you truly won’t want to miss out on.
ChicagoMOD is proud to sponsor two private exceptional dinners during the festival: the Robie House Dinner, as well as Dinner on the Pritzker Pavilion Main Stage.
The Robie House Dinner, a treasured Frank Lloyd Wright home, takes the stage as guests will enjoy a luxurious 5-course meal with dishes from celebrated chefs, paired with wines selected by a Master Sommelier. Wednesday, Sept. 20.
