The long-awaited debut of Chicago’s newest luxury lifestyle publication arrived in style last night–and more than 300 prominent guests got an exclusive sneak peek into the luxurious world of ChicagoMOD.
Guests gathered at the industrial chic Morgan Manufacturing on the evening of Wednesday, April 5 to celebrate ChicagoMOD’s premiere issue and its foray into the great city of Chicago. For the event, ChicagoMOD teamed up with the 100 Club of Chicago, which supports the families of fallen first responders. CEO of the 100 Club of Chicago, Joe Ahern, as well as other members from the charity, were first introduced by our cover star and Chicago Fire actor, Taylor Kinney. ChicagoMOD Publisher Shannon Steitz, and CEO Jason Lembo spoke alongside Ahern during the event.
The launch event brought in VIPs, including Chicago Fire and cover star Taylor Kinney, Chicago Fire‘s Monica Raymund, Hamilton actors Miguel Cervantes and Christopher Lee and Step Up actress, Drew Sidora, singer Lili K and Rockit Ranch Productions Founder Billy Dec. Guests got a chance to walk the red carpet and get their photos taken while VIPs were interviewed by Showbiz Shelly, entertainment reporter on B96 Radio and CBS.
Sponsors Jack Daniels, Bal Harbour, Stolen Rum, Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, Steadfast and Caesarstone set up stations throughout the large venue. Jack Daniels hosted tastings and a branded Virtual Reality experience for guests, while Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams furnished a lounge for VIP guests. Cars were also on display from Fletcher Jones and Aston Martin of Chicago both inside and outside the venue.
Throughout the night, guests enjoyed craft cocktails from Jack Daniels, Finlandia Vodka, Herradura Tequila and Stolen Rum, while delicious bites were served from none other than the fabulous Entertaining Company. A luxe silent auction was held, featuring giveaways like a three-night stay in Sorrento and Lake Como, Italy, as well as signed sports memorabilia from the Chicago Bulls and the Chicago Blackhawks, and modern art. Each guest left with a ChicagoMOD-emblazoned VIP luxury gift bag and a copy of our premiere issue.
Among other attractions were a photo booth from Big Hugs, a stunning performance from Methos Aerial aerialists, violinists, a DJ, a champagne and wine bar from Caesarstone, silent auction and more.
We are so proud to have found a home in Chicago, and we look forward to more successful issues! Thanks for participating in such an incredible evening.
