Plenty of high-end auto brands have released upgraded sports cars for 2017. Here are three of them, recognized for their power and speed. Certainly, they are not just outstanding for their torque, but their expert craftsmanship.
Porsche 911 GTS models
Porsche announced five new GTS models in the early 2017, expanding the Porsche 911 line. Now the new models are available now, including the 911 Carrera GTS, 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet, the 911 Carrera 4 GTS, the 911 Carrera 4 GTS Cabriolet and the 911 Targa 4 GTS. The GTS models represent the highest performance of the 911 Carrera and Targa variants, according to the press release from Porsche.
The new models deliver 450 horsepower. They accelerate from 0 to 60 mph faster than the other comparable models of Carrera and Targa, due to the 3.0-liter flat-six cylinder with larger turbochargers.
Except for the powerful technology, the GTS models are equipped with the new Porsche Track Precision app, which features automatic recording and driving data analysis.
Lamborghini Aventador S
As the latest model of the Lamborghini Aventador line, the new Aventador S increases power and driving dynamics. Aventador S marks the new iconic design of Lamborghini, emphasizing the aerodynamic performance.
The Aventador S is adjusted with all-wheel drive and rear-wheel steering, contributing to enhance its lateral control. The design is not only the first for a series production Lamborghini, but rare in general sports cars.
Though there are structural differences, the Aventador S can still reach high speed shortly. Owing to its 740 horsepower, it takes only 2.9 seconds to run at 60 mph and can speed up to 217 mph.
Moreover, the Aventador S provides many customizable options to buyers. From external and interior colors to engine area, the personalization makes the sports car unique to each customer.
Ferrari 812 Superfast
The 812 Superfast, Ferrari’s new V12, has been introduced to the public at several major international auto shows this year.
Its name, “Superfast,” is quite self-explanatory. The 812 Superfast is capable of reaching the speed of more than 217 mph. It only needs less than 3 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph.
As the first Ferrari to be equipped with Electric Power Steering (EPS), the 812 Superfast is integrated with the electronic vehicle dynamics controls that can fully exploit the performance of the car. Moreover, Brembo Extreme Design brakes, the most efficient braking system developed by Ferrari, has been applied to the sports car.
The 812 Superfast, with dynamic designs and equipment, has become the fastest and most powerful regular production of Ferrari.
