Four Seasons’ first mountain property Hotel Mègeve just got a little cooler. To celebrate the opening of the French mountain resort, the company is launching Helicopter Ski Safaris for guests to enjoy access to the best slopes in the Alps.
Starting on December 15 through April 15, 2018, Ski Safari packages will be available. The “bed & help” concept will not only give guests access to some of the best skiing in the region, but they’ll also be flown to iconic resorts, like Chamonix, Courchevel and Val d’Isère for endless activities and travel opportunities throughout their stay. Hotel Mègeve’s Ski Concierge will ensure that each guest gets a tailored itinerary for their skiing level and terrain preference. For those who are interested in exploring the luxury accommodations other resorts have to offer, the Helicopter Ski Safari packages also offer dog-sled rides, snowmobile rides and snowshoeing walks followed by a mountainside lunch as an alternative to staying overnight.
Packages start at $1,560 a night, and the number of day trips by helicopter included in the package is based on the length of the stay. Guests have the choice of three helicopter trips for seven-night stays, two helicopter trips for five-night stays and one trip for three-night stays. Two different routes are offered depending on the package booking: Mont Blanc Ski Safari (15-minute flight to Chamonix, Flaine or Courmayeur) or Alpine Ski Safari (30-minute flight to Val d’Isère, Courchevel, Méribel or Val Thorens).
If you opt out of a Ski Safari package, Hotel Mègeve has plenty of activities on-site. Directly on the Mont d’arbors slopes, you can relax with phenomenal skiing, five-star spa and more.
