On Saturday, April 29 Steadfast Chicago, located in the Kimpton Gray Hotel in Chicago’s Loop, closed its doors to host an exclusive dinner and cognac tasting for two dozen ChicagoMOD VIP guests. For the intimate event, guests got a chance to taste delectable cuisine from Steadfast’s talented chefs and experience a private tasting from Louis XIII Cognac at the end of the evening.
Louis XIII Cognac bottles were creatively displayed in a private dining section of the restaurant, where guests enjoyed the presentation and intricate luxury of the bottles–each worth $3,000. Delicious and creative seafood bites from Steadfast’s talented chefs were served before guests got to experience a multi-course dinner. Throughout the night, Steadfast General Manager Benjamin Meyer was entertaining guests with a lesson in making craft cocktails with ingredients made in Steadfast’s kitchen. Live entertainment from a lovely jazz trio echoed throughout the room for an ambient, yet high-energy event.
As the night began winding down, Louis XIII’s Maximilien Pats told guests the history of the French-made cognac, which is an exquisite blend of up to 1,200 grapes eaux-de-vie sourced 100% from Grande Champagne. Once guests toasted to a wonderful evening in branded crystal glasses, bite-size delicious desserts were served before the night came to a close.
Thank you to all of our new friends who made the night such a success!
