Credo Beauty recently opened its doors in Bucktown, marking the fifth location in the U.S. for the clean beauty emporium. Like Sephora, Credo Beauty is a beauty and skincare retailer. The difference? Every last drop, swipe and pump of product is “clean.”
Unlike most makeup and skincare brands, clean beauty contains non-toxic ingredients that are safe for your skin. Credo, which means “believe,” provides customers with eco-friendly, cruelty-free and organic cosmetics that actually work. At Credo Beauty, brands go through a rigorous screening process to ensure that they are using safe ingredients, perform well and have no artificial additives. Credo Beauty defies the misconception that clean beauty isn’t as effective with its high performance standards in its top-rated brands, such as Tata Harper, Goldfaden MD, goop, Juice Beauty, RMS Beauty and more.
ChicagoMOD was on-hand for the opening of Credo Beauty to try out the products, talk to brand ambassadors from Juice Beauty, Goldfadden MD, Jenny Patinkin and others, and learn more about Credo Beauty’s ethos. There, we learned about the benefits of clean beauty over traditional makeup and skincare brands and tested out the luxurious, clean products.
It comes as no surprise that this one-stop shop for all your clean beauty and skincare needs is housed in a beautiful, bright and airy space. The Bucktown destination features products lining the walls, as well as a makeup counter, makeup stands and shelves for hair products throughout the center of the store. In addition to the beautifully designed space, Credo Beauty’s Chicago location is one of three to have a Tata Harper Spa. The Tata Harper Spa exclusively uses Tata Harper products and will offer face and body treatments, as well as waxing services.
